CREAZIONE SUGO unveils PETALI, a sculptural seating system where furniture dissolves into landscape. Suspended between object and organism, PETALI invites the observer to imagine shrinking into the world of an insect—resting within the protective embrace of a flower’s petals.

Inspired by the lotus and the fleeting beauty of cherry blossoms—symbols of fortune and longevity in ancient Chinese mythology—PETALI transforms these botanical archetypes into an architectural gesture. The structure unfolds through a choreography of curved galvanized steel petals, each one meticulously handcrafted by the artisans of DiSisto 1940 in Italy.

The seating system can be composed in clusters of three, four, five or six elements, echoing the geometries of different floral species. Tubular steel rods weave through the structure like botanical veins, subtly carrying water and thermal systems while evoking the translucent cellular patterns of foliage illuminated by sunlight.

More than furniture, PETALI becomes a poetic habitat—an inhabitable flower that merges sculpture, nature and atmosphere, dissolving the boundary between interior and landscape.
