Hong Kong

Perched within Hong Kong’s most rarefied enclave, The Peak, this project began as a request to renew a twenty-year-old apartment while preserving the calm dignity of domestic life. Our interior philosophy has always leaned toward restraint: minimal forms, controlled tones, and an atmosphere that privileges serenity over spectacle. Unlike our more experimental furniture and installations, the living environment demands quietness—spaces that breathe rather than provoke.

Subtle moments of play were introduced through geometry: hexagonal screens and circular rhythms within the wood-veneer cladding. Yet these gestures remain measured, carefully balanced so as not to disturb the apartment’s tranquil character.

Natural light and natural finishes engage in a quiet dialogue throughout the interior, shaping a soft landscape of pale surfaces and muted textures. The result is a luminous refuge—deliberately distant from the darker, densely composed flats typical of the city, where heavy timber and mirrored surfaces often dominate. Here, simplicity becomes the true luxury.
