Creazione SUGO and Concepticon join forces to explore uncharted territories of design. Founded by Kevin Chu and Andrea Cingoli, the collaboration gives life to two experimental creations that imagine an artificial landscape inspired by nature—where the silent frenzy of egg-laying insects becomes a catalyst for form and imagination. Dry tree trunks contrast with the vitality of living plants, evoking the eternal dialogue between recycling and regeneration.
Both designs embody radical adaptability. STICK INSECT is a lamp without a fixed destiny: it may rest on the floor, climb a wall, or descend from the ceiling. More creature than object, it inhabits space like a living presence—bringing movement, curiosity, and quiet poetry into the environment.
OLEG, meanwhile, reveals itself as one of the most versatile furniture systems ever conceived. Its modular geometry allows it to evolve into bookshelves, coat racks, tables, lighting elements, or sculptural compositions. Through playful aggregation, users become co-creators—free to build functional objects or abstract structures suited to any space.
Presented at Ente Mostra Artigianato Artistico Abruzzese in Abruzzo (August 1–25, 2024), the installation unfolds around a central island that evokes an infinite spatiotemporal continuum. Here, forms gather and disperse as if within a universe beyond time and dimension.
Visitors are invited to step inside this landscape—where art, design, and function dissolve into one immersive experience.
