Sino Land Innovation Laboratory — Creazione SUGO Installation

One of Hong Kong’s most storied developers, Sino Land, invited Creazione SUGO to intervene within its Innovation Laboratory—an environment devoted to the research of advanced building technologies and future materials. Into this highly technical landscape, we introduced a contrasting narrative.

Using our OMINO lamps alongside the winged FLY lights, the installation unfolds like a suspended comic strip. Against an existing vector-like mural, the lamps animate the space with playful gestures: small luminous figures appear to converse, while butterflies hover above them like fleeting thoughts.

The laboratory itself is dense with precision—samples of engineered materials, experimental surfaces, and technological prototypes. Our intention was to gently disrupt this atmosphere with a moment of lightness. Where the surroundings speak the language of engineering, the installation responds with innocence and imagination.

The result is a quiet dialogue between rigor and play. In the midst of research and innovation, a small scene emerges—almost childlike—where light becomes narrative, and the laboratory briefly remembers the joy of dreaming.
